Welcome to the official blog for the 2014 Ashland Area Job Fair!

This blog is your first stop for information on the Ashland Area Job Fair, which will take place on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at AU's Convocation Center from 10 AM - 2 PM. We will continually update this blog with participating employer information, available positions, job seeking tips, and general job fair news. You may also Like the Ashland Area Council for Economic Development's Facebook page to receive updates that way: www.facebook.com/AshlandAreaCED.

The Ashland Area Job Fair is free and open to any job seeker. Maybe you are employed or unemployed, a student or a graduate, or just someone who has the interest and desire to enter a certain career path. Whoever you are, you won't be disappointed if you're looking for positions with great rewards in satisfaction, security, and monetary benefits. Job seekers with previous training and/or experience working in industries represented by participating employers will be especially desirable.

Be sure to come prepared. Bring your resume. If you don't have one and need help creating one, you can get FREE resume assistance at your local OneStop. They can also help you with interviewing. You can find your local OneStop information in the left column labeled "CareerOneStops (Resume and Interview Assistance)." These links include contact information and hours of operation.

Please feel free to post comments or questions, or call Jamie at AACED (419-289-3200).

    1. We will be able to post available positions once we have more employers registered, but it does look like there will be some engineering positions available. Be sure to check back in April before the job fair for more specifics. If you would like to look for a job in the meantime, be sure to go to the Ohio Means Jobs website: http://ohiomeansjobs.com/omj/jobseeker/view.do
